We are looking for medical doctors to join our Risk
Management and Claims Assessment teams.
Our company manages employee health benefits for
large employers and manages medical insurance policies for various
insurance companies.
We are currently seeking intelligent individuals
with a medical and insurance background to carry out the following
duties:
- Review claims received to ensure treatments
provided/charged match to advised diagnoses.
- Audit claims assessed to make certain
benefits are being correctly paid and claim charges have been
correctly coded.
We are also seeking doctors with medical and
practice experience to join our team as Case Managers. Your duties will
include monitoring patients for whom we have guaranteed hospital stays,
monitoring long term treatment and high risk patients, and recommending
second opinions and changes to treatment plans where appropriate.
The people we are looking for must be able to
work patiently yet efficiently through the many claim documents
involved. You must also be able to at all times keep the patient’s
medical needs “top-of-mind”. We aim to stop abuse of benefits, to
find and address overservicing by providers – but to always provide
full and immediate service to those in real need.
