International Access Membership Structure

The ACCESS Membership Structure renders services based on FEE-FOR-SERVICE. However, the Client and designated Members have complimentary access to a range of Assistance Services, including:

In this Structure, Assistance Services incurring costs are provided at a substantially lower rate as compared to contracting on an emergency basis from an external source.

Case Simulation:

Global Assistance & Healthcare®is alerted of an emergency situation. The Assistance Co-ordinator on duty obtains vital information from the caller i.e. condition of the Member, location of the Member, contact information of the Member/caller etc. With the information provided, a situation report including medical opinion, a recommended course of action and an estimate of costs involved for the services to be rendered will be provided to the Client / Member’s legal personal representative. Global Assistance & Healthcare® WILL NOT INITIATE ANY MAJOR EXPENSE WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL, unless the Member’s situation demands immediate action.

Upon approval, Global Assistance & Healthcare® will initiate all arrangements for services required in the emergency situation e.g. air/land evacuation. The Client/Member’s legal personal representative will have constant update of the operational and logistic matters of the situation.

Global Assistance & Healthcare®owns and maintains specially designed equipment packages which are utilised to transform virtually any corporate or private charter jet into an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) setting. This technical ability assures that every Member transfer/evacuation is carried out under strict procedures which are designed to monitor the Member’s condition at all times.
