Global Assistance & Healthcare® was established in 1993 in response to the need of assistance services from travelers, local nationals and expatriates living in Indonesia. Our core business was originally to provide Assistance Services via an Alarm Center in Jakarta which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Services
provided range from full medical emergency evacuations to the
nearest suitable place of care - which is usually Singapore - to advice to
travelers
on
security situations or local country disease risk (immunization requirements
etc). Operating under reciprocity agreements with other International Assistance Providers, Global Assistance & Healthcare® has created a worldwide network of 28 Alarm Centers - all of which provide 24 hour services, 365 days a year, to callers requesting assistance. We provide toll-free telephone numbers in a number of countries to ensure fast and reliable access to our Assistance Service Center. For Corporate Clients, Global Assistance & Healthcare® also provides full security solutions. Ranging from coordination and management of site emergencies (chemical spills etc) to security planning to protect employees from civil unrest. Such plans can include full evacuation planning and resourcing if required.
