An Introduction to Global Assistance & Healthcare®

A Worldwide Assistance Network

Global Assistance & Healthcare® was established in 1993 in response to the need of assistance services from travelers, local nationals and expatriates living in Indonesia. 

Our core business was originally to provide Assistance Services via an Alarm Center in Jakarta which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Services provided range from full medical emergency evacuations to the nearest suitable place of care - which is usually Singapore - to advice to travelers on security situations or local country disease risk (immunization requirements etc).

Operating under reciprocity agreements with other International Assistance Providers, Global Assistance & Healthcare® has created a worldwide network of 28 Alarm Centers - all of which provide 24 hour services, 365 days a year, to callers requesting assistance.  We provide toll-free telephone numbers in a number of countries to ensure fast and reliable access to our Assistance Service Center.

For Corporate Clients, Global Assistance & Healthcare® also provides full security solutions.  Ranging from coordination and management of site emergencies (chemical spills etc) to security planning to protect employees from civil unrest.  Such plans can include full evacuation planning and resourcing if required.

For our Insurance and Managed Care clients, Global Assistance & Healthcare® provides Third Party Administration & Risk Management Services.  Our TPA Services include a professional call center with dedicated lines for each client; policyholder/member enrollment; general underwriting services; billing services; claims assessment & adjudication; and claims investigation and payment services.

Equipped with state of the art software to handle claims and statistical reporting, we are able to provide first class customer service to policyholders and a wealth of statistical information to our Insurance Company clients - allowing them to analyze their risk and make appropriate business decisions as a result.
